affiliates Grant

The purpose of this grant is to provide reimbursement for:

• A new initiative for your affiliate (i.e., a math contest for students)
• Professional learning for teachers provided by your affiliate
• Mentorship or sponsorship of an affiliate
• Other innovative ideas for building and strengthening affiliate membership.

Recipients of the grant are required to:

• Submit a receipt of cost to the VCTM treasurer
• Share results of the initiative by attending a meeting of affiliate delegates 
• Write and submit an article for publication to the Virginia Mathematics Teacher, and
• Present at a VCTM conference.

The grant amount will be up to $1500.
