William C. Lowry Math Educator of the Year
Each year, VCTM recognizes a classroom teacher at the elementary, middle, secondary, university, and math specialist/coach level for his or her outstanding work in the field of mathematics. On teacher selected from each of the five categories may be awarded the VCTM William C. Lowry Mathematics Educator of the Year Award. Learn more about the William C. Mathematics Beauty ContestEach year, VCTM offers a Mathematics Beauty Contest. The contest is open to all Virginia students. One winner from each of five different grade bands will win a gift card and a pizza party for their class. The contest opens each January and runs through March.
