Speaker Proposal Form - VCTM Conference March 2017

Use this form to submit a proposal to speak at the 2017 VCTM Conference.   Once submitted, your proposal will be reviewed by our program committee and you will be notified by January 10 as to whether your proposal has been approved.  If the submission is approved, one lead speaker for each session must register for the conference at a reduced rate of $80.  All other secondary speakers must register for the conference at the conference rate of $120.  All lead and secondary speakers will receive one-year of complimentary membership to VCTM. 

We invite proposals for 75-minute sessions at all levels, from Pre-Kindergarten to Post-Secondary.  Proposals should explore the theme "Community of Heroes: Educate, Encourage, Inspire" where possible.  Multidisciplinary presentations are welcome.

In your proposal, please highlight the mathematics content to be presented and complete all required fields. 

All presenter rooms have a teacher station with a computer, monitor, projector, document camera, DVD player, audio, and internet access. In addition, there are 3 computer labs available, so sessions that engage participants in computer-based activities are encouraged.

Deadline for proposals HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO January 2, 2017. 

If your proposal is accepted, you will need to complete the conference registration form by January 20 in order to be put into the program as a conference speaker. Only one discount registration allowed per session, and all session speakers MUST register for the conference by January 20 to be included in the program.
